Clutch Seal Installation Tool for Modern Vespa and Piaggio Scooters.

Overhauling the clutches on the automatic Vespas and Piaggio scooters should be done every 12,000 miles. When overhauling the clutch you'll need to replace the two oil seals REFERENCE NUMBER 431089 that keep grease inside the moving components of the clutch pack and away from the friction materials of the clutch. These seals can be difficult and practically impossible to install without a special tool. The factory tool is really expensive and a silly expense for the at-home scooter mechanic.

We've developed this exclusive tool to make installing these seals a piece of cake. This tapered sleeve will allow you to slide the outboard seal into it's bore without rolling the lip.

If you're buying one of our deluxe belt kits then you should also be investing in this tool. Without it, you're running the risk of incorrectly installing the seal and potentially ruining your clutch, drive belt, and variator.

Vespa ET/LX/S/LXV 125/150cc
Vespa GT 125/200cc
Vespa GTS/Super/GTV 125/250/300cc
Piaggio Fly 125/150cc
Piaggio BV 125/200/250/300cc
Any other application with the LEADER 125/150/200cc or QUASAR 125/250/300cc engine

Note: This tool will not work on the newer 3-valve 125/150cc engines.
