Any scooter owner knows that you need to change your drive belt every 6,000-8,000 miles depending on the make and model. Anytime you do the belt you should really do the other consumables in the Variator. The set of "rollers" and "guides" are inexpensive items that are subject to wear and tear. Our master technicians always change the rollers and guides whenever they do a belt job.

The clutch should also be serviced every time you replace your belt. Don't be lazy. You're already in there and getting dirty. You should do the complete job and replace the clutch pulley consumables and repack them with fresh grease. Check out the grease that Scooter West uses in our shop and see Reference number GREASE.

**Note: the variator tool may require minor filing to work on the GT200.**
