How to Use

For Removal:

• Select your Size: Choose the removal adapter that matches your stud’s thread size and thread pitch.
• Thread it On: Spin the adapter onto the stud until it is fully engaged. The increased thread contact ensures a solid grip that won't round off the stud’s threads.
• Use a 19mm & 22mm wrench to tighten the pair of nuts on the extractor tool to clinch the stud’s threads.
• Extract the stud with either a 22mm socket or wrench.
• Extract Tool from Stud with a pair of wrenches.

For Installation:

• Thread the Stud: Thread the new stud into the correct sized tool until it hits the internal ball.
• Drive & Torque: Thread the stud into your engine. The tool allows you to drive the stud home and apply the final torque safely, as the load is distributed across the threads rather than the top of the stud.
• Extract Tool from Stud: Use a 17mm wrench or socket to back the stud out of the engine case.  If needed, use a 6mm Allen to back the tension of the ball out of the tool.
