Instructions for Stud Installation:

• Thread the Stud: Thread the new stud into the correct sized tool until it hits the internal ball.
• Drive & Torque: Thread the stud into your engine. The tool allows you to drive the stud home and apply the final torque safely, as the load is distributed across the threads rather than the top of the stud.
• Extract Tool from Stud: Use a 19mm wrench or socket to back the stud out of the engine case.  If needed, use a 6mm Allen to back the tension of the ball out of the tool.
