UPPER CAGED STEERING FORK BEARING 1965-2006 - SMALLER TYPE BALL (SF504-1109)

These are for the upper steering bearings that use the smaller 3.2mm (1/8") balls.

This is the standard replacement upper steering bearing for most vintage Vespas.

It is also a standard replacement for about 50% of Modern Vespa/Piaggio scooters produced up to 2009. At some point in the last 10 years, Piaggio switched from this smaller type of ball to the larger 4MM balls founds on the newer Vespa models. Additionally , the bearings with the bigger cages/balls have there own set of races that match. THIS SMALLER TYPE BEARING WILL NOT WORK AS A REPLACEMENT FOR THE LARGER STYLE 4MM BALL. At this moment, Vespa does not offer the larger caged bearing by itself, but we have a few solutions:
