Replace the Brass Cylindrical bush (0593652), with a plastic cage Needle Bearing on any Vintage Large Frame Clutch from 1961 to 2016.
Piaggio decided to save money on manufacturing back in 1960's when they replaced the roller bearings in the clutch with the brass bushing. Although cheaper, the brass bearings really aren't as smooth or long-lasting as the roller bearings.
This bearing will give you easier clutch plate separation, which will make those awkward jerky starts a thing of the past! It also allows for much better lubrication.
